Fighting For Peace CH.5

  The queen got up and looked at Loe. She nodded at him. "Thank you. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until they attack a village. I know so much innocent blood will be spilt… But I remember what my father had told me and my brother. You must look through the darkness to see the light. I just hope I'm doing the right thing. Loe you may go now. I kindly thank you for both your help and support."  



  "I am always willing to help the royal family. If you need any more help, just call out and don't send Elana… She's more of a golden retriever."  Loe said as he turned around and walked towards the door. He stopped in the doorway when the Queen began to speak again.



  "I apologize for her behavior towards you. You do know how both humans and mythical creatures treat half-breeds, hybrids. I can allow the rules to be enforced, but I can't change how one thinks." Tirra said softly.



  "I know that very well… Don't remind me." Loe said as he left. The queen waited for twenty minutes before she ran out of the throne room and out in to the training fields. She looked around. She saw Tennor and Otay playing football with a few of the knights and guards.  Tennor kicked the ball to Otay and Otay ran as fast as she could and kicked the ball aiming for the goal, but it was blocked.  Tirra smiled, watching them. By the looks of it, Otay's and Tennor's team seemed to be winning.  Then a familiar voice shouted. Tirra looked over her shoulder to see Seniel running towards her.



  "Queen Tirra!  Queen Tirra! They are attacking the village near the sea!" Seniel screamed as she galloped towards her.  Tirra's eyes widen, surprised that they would attack so quickly.  She looked around, and then she whistled. A large dragon landed in front of her, feathers replaced its scales, its wings were large and bird-like instead of dragon-like. She climbed onto the saddle that was on the dragon, she removed a sword with its sheath and she attached the sheath on to her leather belt.  She looked at the knights and guards.



  "I want at least twenty of you to stay here! The others should get on a dragon horse and head into the forest to the village near the sea! Seniel you should rest." Tirra shouted as she grabbed onto the saddle of feathered dragon.



  "No, I need to go to my tribe! Tennor I want you to be safe, stay here and don't go anywhere!" Seniel shouted before she ran into the forest. Tennor nodded and walked to Otay who was worried. She never saw her Aunt act like this.



  "Otay you stay safe too! I want you to go into the castle and stay in the castle!" Tirra shouted. Tirra looked ahead and kicked the dragon twice. The dragon opened its feathered wings and thrust itself into the air and began to fly. She knew it would take hours to get to the village. Tirra heard someone screaming, she looked back and glanced at the tail of the dragon to see Elana holding onto the dragon's tail. She watched Elana climbing onto the back of the dragon. Tirra looked at her with annoyance.  Elana saw that she was annoyed.



  "Sorry Milady." Elana apologized.



  "Just don't do that again." Tirra said looking ahead. Elana didn't reply. The two were silent for the rest of the flight. They soon reached the village near the sea. The sun was setting when the dragon landed. Both Elana and Queen Tirra slid off of the dragons back. The village was quiet, completely still. Just like the forest. Tirra looked at Elana. "Hear anything?"



  Elana shook her head. She looked around to see something dragging itself into the sea waters. She ran towards it. Tirra looked to see Elana running to the water.



  "Elana! Wait!" Tirra shouted as she ran trying to catch up to Elana, but something landed in front of her. It was a dragon. Its eyes had no pupils, it had no horns, but it had long ears, its mouth was curled into a sinister smile like the other pupil-less dragon had. It's tail separated into two near the middle. Tirra stepped back. "Elana!"



  Elana couldn't hear the queen, she was too busy with running onto the docks to find out what that thing was that dove into the sea's waters. She suddenly saw something shooting at her, she jumped out of the way. The thing looked like a black tongue as it snapped back into the water. She ran onto a ship, trying to think of a way to kill that thing in the water without getting killed as well.  When she got on deck she looked around.  She felt something ramming into the ship, making it rock wildly.



  Tirra on the other hand was backing away slowly from the dragon stepping closer and closer towards her. She grabbed into the hilt of the sword as she stared into the eyes of the dragon. The dragon continued to smile.



  Elana grabbed a sword from captain's bunk and got ready for the tongue to shoot at her, at that moment it did and she stabbed it and into the wooden planks of the deck. Then a dragon climbed on the deck, its front legs were like flippers and it screeched in pain as it desperately tried to get its tongue unstuck. Elana ran to one of the places where they kept the gun powder. She grabbed a barrel and rolled onto deck, she tore a strip of cloth from her shirt and placed it in the barrel and had some of it hang out. She ran to the captains bunk and grabbed some rocks and ran back to the barrel. She hit the rocks and sparks began to fly. The cloth lit up and she ran in front of the barrel when the dragon hit the sword off of its tongue.



  "Hey! You're mom was a cockatrice!" She shouted. The dragon shot its tongue at her, she jumped out of the way and the dragon grabbed the barrel with its tongue and swallowed it. Elana jumped to docks as the dragon exploded and sunk under the water along with the ship. Elana almost fell into the water when someone grabbed her and pulled her up the person looked angry.



  "Ye blew up me ship!" The person shouted.



  "I'm so sorry... I'll ask qu-"Elana was interrupted by Queen Tirra's scream.
